• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

dynojet PC-5 install

The Rotax is a V-Twin. Did you meant 'Specific V-Twins' as in Harley models?

I would think an O2 sensor for each cylinder would be the best of all worlds as I've heard that some Spyders run lean on 1 cylinder and fine on the other.

:ohyea:yes sir, their web site is kinda confusing on the issue so I called to clarify. ONLY for v -twin air cooled engines as in Harley motors.

I have not used A PC V but did plenty of tuning on Corvette ECMs. If the TB only has 1 injector then one O2 should suffice. If there are 2 injectors on the Rotax (:dontknow:) I cannot see how you can get a good tune from one sensor. There are 2 O2's correct? If so they are measuring each cylinder. Each injector will need the BLM's adjusted for proper tune and I too have read some Spyders run one cylinder lean. Maybe someone with more Rotax engine knowledge can jump in here......

On my 12' RS-Two injectors total (only one per cylinder). One o2 at where the "Y" pipe collects before the muffler.
IMHO- to do it right with the auto tune, and if spending the money, the dual channel would be better.
Single will work, but the dual is ideal. The cost difference is a minimal upgrade.

Now with that being said, I still tune old school with a base map, an AFR gauge and some ride time. Works for me.

All are going to get you close enough with little, if any issues.
If these were race motors it would be different.

The RTs have two OEM O2 sensors, but the RS, at least through 2012, has only one.
