• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ok, my enter key is acting up. I have not upgraded Windows. I'm still using version 7. It's only on this site that it's not working. I can use it on e-mail (Windows Live) and Word. I can also use it on other web sites. It was working fine this morning. Any Ideas???

It is IE10 that is causing the problem. Go to the control panel and remove the upgrade through the add/remove programs option. Restart the computer and you will be back in business. Then go into Windows Update and disable automatic updates if they are on.

I have no problems using either Firefox or Chrome. I don't use IE except when I absolutely have to. I think that Firefox or Chrome are much better than IE.

Looks like there is internet, but no icon to get into it. I've looked everywhere and can't figure out how to do this. Please, somebody help us!!!! :yikes:

Try going to Control Panel and then to Network/Internet settings. Internet Options then Programs where I think you should be able to choose your program. Good luck

Have to agree..!!

using chrome and firefox has things working fine. IE has never worked as well..:dontknow:

For the rest of us, our computers automatically reverted to IE 9 on a reboot...if only the IE10 update was removed, not the entire program. You should be able to download IE9 here...

You will probably need to remove IE10 first, though.

Whoops! I think I may have removed the entire program. I'll try this again, but did install chrome on Bruiser's laptop. I don't know a lot about doing stuff like this, and it's always a learning experience!!
