Got error code V0416 - what is it? Also won't down shift automatically, what could be wrong?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Code V0416 what is it? Spyder RT won't down shift automatically, what could be wrong?

I only have Spyder Codes info for the older (pre-2018) models, and since you haven't told us what year & model of Spyder you're talking about, I can only assume from your post back in May 2015 that it's a 2014 RT... (Which is why I moved this thread here. 
) If that is the case, that particular code is not shown on any of my Spyder Code listings. 
Not that it helps much, but are you sure it's a 'V' and not a 'U'?? Error Code 'U0416' is a fairly common automotive (non Spyder/BUDS) code for a VSS error, but I really don't know if that applies here...
The later models may have that code in their onboard programming &/or in their diagnostics, in which case someone with those models or access to that generation of those codes may be able to help more, but I cannot. Sorry.
