• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3-S pulls to the right - could the sway bar install have done this? Is it easy to re-align myself?

Hello all!

I recently installed the Lamonster sway bar and now I'm just noticing that my 2021 F3-S is pulling slightly to the right. I have to keep a little more pressure with my left hand to go straight. I can also tell as the handle bars are not completely centered when driving. Could the installation of the sway bar have caused a misalignment? Is it easy to realign by myself?

There is a handlebar angle sensor in the system. So it can't be more out of line than before, or you would get a code. If you were to adjust toe in/out, it could throw that off, and need BUDS to reset the sensor. Adjusting toe in/out needs to be done with a laser. A better sway bar must just bring out the pulling more. Are you going thru curves faster than most? If you have to fight oversteer/understeer in curves, the alignment is probably out some. Mine was, until I had a laser alignment by a ROLO system, then it became smoother.

With a heavier sway bar you may now be noticing the crown of the road more. Does this sway bar have 2 adjustment positions for the links? If so use outer position. Check the air pressure in the front tires and watch for unusual tire wear.

You can test for this by finding a piece of road with no other cars (or Police) on it and taking a short ride in the same direction but on the other side of the road. If the Spyder pulls left, it's the crown of the road causing it.

The sway bar is guided thru the front frame and attached to the A arms with dogbone links on each side. The Sway bar helps control up/down movement. The sway bar will not affect alignment, but it will affect steering by controlling body sway/roll.
