There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Hi All,
First time poster here. I am wanting to buy a F3-S SE6 spyder and I have a question on pricing. I found one at a dealership that is a demo model that is stock. It has about 300 mi on it. Any idea what a is a fair price for this? Thanks for any help I can get on this and I am looking forward to becoming a spyder owner!!!

Hi there,
In previous posts I have mentioned about buying a demo and it will be interesting to find out how much the dealership in question is selling there demo for? So please could you tell me how much the dealer is selling their demo for?

The yellow tag event ends tomorrow which is $1,000 from BRP before any dealer discount. I don't know if this is just a dealer demo or a program from BRP which could effect the price. Word on the street is you can get $3,500 off MSRP on a F3-S SE6 including the $1,000 from BRP so it would need to be more than that for a bike with miles. I would get the three year extension on the warranty since you don't know how it was broken but have a pretty good idea. Just my $.02 worth.

If you do the "Build" function at BRP your cost is $22,499. F3S SE6 (Steel Black would be $23,499?)
The promotion Specifically States- New Or Unused 2014 or 2015 Model= Demo's Are Not New and Unused?

I predict a New Much Higher rebate Either the 1st of September or after the new Model announcement slated for 21 Sep 15.nojoke

If only the UK dealers had similar discounts.

I didn't get a quote.....they said they had one on the lot with 300 mi on it or a new one. The quote for a new one with some farkles added to it was around 22k. What got me curious was I saw a craigslist listing from a dealer for one with 199mi on it for a little over 16k. I have no idea if it had and dents or blemishes or anything like that but from the picture it looked fine. I'm a total noob with anything powersports related and probably the worlds worst haggler. I have my own financing though and I might end up waiting until the first of the month to see if any other dealers rebates or any better deals happen. So far the lowest I have seen on an F3S-SE6 from a dealer is 18k.

If you are a NewBee Wait for the BEST deal and get it NEW! And Do Not let them charge you Freight- $500, Dealer Prep-$250 or other Stupid charges!! None Of My 3 Spyder purchases included Freight, Prep or Etc!
You should Pay the Retail Minus at Least a $3,000 Rebate (Depreciation 0f 1 Year?) and Tax and Registration.
Do Not be afraid to Walk away-Just like you would do buying a Car BECAUSE they will call you back?nojoke

I believe dealer demos are considered new equipment and the warranty starts when you make the purchase. So, whatever deals/offers Can-Am has for new equipment should apply. I would of course ask for a larger discount than the Can-Am offer since it was/is a demo and the dealer shouldn't have an issue with this.

When I went to visit OJ UK and his F3 whilst on my holiday he made a similar suggestion, if I buy demo make sure warranty starts from time I purchase it. So I guess us newbies should take the good advice and wait till next month. In the meantime I have sent a email to Can-Am asking when will the UK see similar discounts to the US "Yellow Tag Event" on F3 models. At present Can-Am only advertise discounts on older 2013/2014 Spyders on UK website.

Good Morning, We have a F3 we bought to design our Air Wings, Belt Stabilizer and Wind Shield. We paid over 22,000 in July. We have two other Spyders, now we have completed our designs for the F3 items we sell and no longer need the above F3. It has a Windshield and a Belt Stabilizer installed. Total Mileage on the bile is 240 miles. We are asking 18,500.00 dollars. If you have any interest call us 1-800-451-9646 and ask for Mike Jackson.

I have found this to be untrue. A friend purchased a 2014 RTS demo from a local dealer, and they did not get the extended warrenty that was offered on my new 2014, and about half of the original 2 year warrenty was already used up (only 1 year left). I would have walked away, but they did purchase the spyder, and purchased an additional warrenty and they installed a few other farkles at a discount. I would have walked away and purchased new from somewhere else, but since they were trading in another spyder and wanted the items transfered to the new one, they gave in.

Last year when I was shopping for my '14 RTL I learned that on a "demo" the warranty starts when the dealer puts it in service. I ended up not buying the demo, but I did learn a lot.

Some of this depends on how the dealer demoed it. If the dealer registered the specific vehicle then its "used" equipment. If he's just using his dealer plate on it (which can be transferred across vehicles) then its still "new" equipment. The registration is what determines the new or used status.

.02 here. To me a demo is a used vehicle. It has been tested by those who may not have a clue about driving a :ani29:. I would bet it was not treated gently. I would not pay full new price whether it had a brand new warranty or not. $1,000 additional off (for a thousand miles or less--more for higher initial mileage) would be what I would expect.

The :spyder2: is not such a hot, new, or wonderful vehicle that it deserves a premium on the price anymore. There is a dealer here that is advertising new 2012 RT's still. One--$19K for original $28K. The other, $23K for original $30K.

There are buys to be found--but you have to look high and low sometimes.

:agree: Demo is USED!! When my dealer let me take the F3 by Myself for about 30 Minutes "Do You Think I was shifting at 3,000 rpm?" Think again- More like 6-7,000 rpm shifts?
Be patient- The Deals will be here Before the End of September!!!!
