• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello
i think my dealer may have given me the wrong manual as mine does not mention how to go into sports mode. I have searched the site and have found no mention of it either. Pressing the mode button wiill turn it on but it turns off immediately. I have no weight on the back seat and I have tried holding the button down to no avail. Am I missing something?

Under your back seat, there's a switch, big black knob, do you have somthing under the seat which is touching that knob, that will kill the sportsmode, sportsmode is also killed when riding 2up.
Martin the vlogger, has an item, where you can circumvent the switch (a cap from a spraycan, will also work). Be carefull tho, when riding 2up, the sportsmode will let you lift one frontwheel of the pavement, and the spyder will flip, if not reacted accordingly.

I had once the cable, that holds the backseat tangeled up, between the seat and the knob, so that could well be your answer, to your question.

Got mine blocked with a cap. I keep a cargo bag strapped on the back seat.

In Sport Mode, if your traction control is really turned off, you will have the TC off indicator on the dash.

Just a small barrel bag on the seat is enough to make the seat contact the pax switch. The seat might contact the switch even without anything on the seat.
