• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3-T Passenger Backrest wobbles - anyone else? Know the correct torque spec?

I've just installed the F-3T passenger backrest (219 400 499) in the pic and torqued all the screws per the instructions. The completed assembly has a slight wobble at the tubes coming up from the right and left backrest supports. There was no torque spec given for these screws so I'm reaching out to anyone else who has encountered the same problem or knows the correct torque spec.

FYI, it was an easy installation except the left side latching mechanism seemed to stick about half way through its travel and wouldn't lock-in as it's supposed to. I tried a few times (wishing I knew some swear words in French) and resorted to tapping it with a mallet when it got stuck. Then it went into the proper position and stayed there. So the "easy removal" feature may not be as easy as I expected.

I'm waiting for a reply from Can-Am about both issues.
