Interesting..!!

there is a post here with a similar look but a whole new rear section. They were going to paint (powder coating) but not much more info...this looks nice and very reasonable... thanks for the info....

Picked bike up from Bushtec today, they have had it for two weeks proto typing a hitch for the F3. This is a new rear bumper attached to the swing arm. The receiver is removed by removing license plate. Some cutting on the plastic is required but all behind the license plate. I will be taking it to my powder coater along with F3 luggage rack I am making next week. The powder coater that Bushtec uses has a minimum charge which is quite high and the one I use is rack and run. I drop it off and sometime durning the week he will be running the color I need which saves a lot of money. Bushtec should have pricing sometime next week.

That's awesome, how about the wiring harness, did they get that figured out also?

 It's looking GREAT! :2thumbs: Just as if it was always meant to be there!

Had the Bushtec hitch on my 2008 GS. Looks like the F3 will follow. Real happy with the way it looks. Thanks Fencepost for going the extra mile for all of us.

Picked hitch up from powder coater today will install tomorrow. Have an appointment with Lewis at Electrical Connection on Wednesday for the wiring. Will post pictures and info on wiring harness/isolator by Friday.

The $499.00 is for the pin and lock set up or $399.00 for ball mount. When the hitch is removed there is no sign that there is a hitch which should keep you out of a pissing contest with the dealer.

Pulling a trailer

I thought that the F3S was not capable of hauling a trailer yet, is that not the case?:sour:
I am pulling my trailer with my F3 now for a couple of weeks now with no problem The F3 has plenty of power and pulls a trailer with no problem no sway on the highway or cornering :yes::yes:Glad I bought this hitch for the F3

LED lightning

Admiring your LED lightning on your F3

I think I may have mentioned to Geoff (OJ UK) due to Signature Light not being available to us direct from BRP for UK, I may get a LED strip lightning fitted where signature light would have been fitted.
Mikescanam thanks for posting a pic of your F3 with LEDs, this has given me a reminder to get LEDs fitted in the future.;)

I know I'm a little late to the party but I ordered this hitch the other day. Can someone with experience tell me what is involved for the install?
