Finally made a decision

Well after an agonizing internal debate I finally ordered a comfort seat. I sure hope I like it I have sat on a couple different seats but never went for a ride of any length on either so crossing my fingers I will enjoy the comfort seat. One thing that's for sure is it will be better than the stock seat on the ol' tailbone. Well IT better be haha. :yikes::yes:

You'll love it, it's much more comfortable than stock and approaches the comfort of seats nearly twice its price. I'm completely satisfied with mine. And it looks great.

I ordered it from amazon. A little trick I learned is you can set up a 30 day trial of amazon prime for free and it comes with free priority 2 day shipping, Louis power sports is the supplier for this amazon purchase, So that was awesome I ordered it last night got free 2 day shipping and it will be here tomorrow. All you have to do is cancel prime membership after the trial is over and there is no cost to you.

You should find an improvement over the OEM seat. I put a comfort seat on the 2009 RS and will be putting one on the new 2011 RT. I am sure the complaints will disappear from any rides over 100 miles in length. I can only go about 50 miles on the OEM seat and I am ready to get off the :spyder2:.
I am also waiting to hear your review and impressions.

We will add some information about our impressions of the new comfort seat once we start riding this season.

Got the seat installed and I already love it haha. Getting the locking mechanism to fit properly is a real PITA but its ok I will get that adjusted. The seat looks great, should go for a nice ride on it today, so can't wait to try it out!

A little tip for getting the latch adjustment right put some masking tape on the latch ( female) side put some chalk line chalk on the plunger side let set down until it barely touchs and look at where it strikes then you can tell which way to move it until it centers

i've dealt with louis powersports and was going to order the chrome rims for rts they were going to charge me 550 out the door and free shipping then i went to my dealer here and tried to get them to do the same but they made a counter offer 575 out the door what sold me was they pointed out that if the rims came damaged i would have to send back to louis on my dime then wait for them to get there and reorder,well when my rims showed up at my dealer 1rim was damaged so they reordered right on the spot so i'm glad i decided to pay 25 more. but if your looking to chrome out your ride i dealt with leisure time power sports out of corry,pa got everything except the exhaust chrome for 1450 out the door with shipping.my dealer would not match that at all. needless to say when it was delivered all was good. just waiting on the new rims was told they will be here tues.
