• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First night ride 8) ... and question...

First off...went very well. Was comfortable with no concerns

Was a little concerned before doing this. Went over a buddies, knowing I would not come home till after dark. After seeing all the people upgrading to HID's, I was wondering what I would be able to see or not see. Needless to say, I was very impressed with stock lights ( 2011 RS ) :2thumbs:. I could see clearly and actually held back thinking I was blinding the vehicle in front. I was even flashed several times. After the 2nd one, I started flashing mine back for a quick blip. See, its low beam ...you big dummy :roflblack::roflblack:

Are you guys seeing the same thing, or is my stock setup out of adjustment ( less than 700 miles...going for my service soon:ohyea: )..

Thanks for your comments :coffee:

Yes, :agree: I too have had several people flash at me while driving at night. I have about 1200 miles on my 2011 RT Limited. I also was wondering if this was normal. I am scheduled for a service visit a week after Maggie Valley and was going to get it checked out then. The great part of this is that we now know everyone can see us!!! :roflblack: :2thumbs:

Well... I can tell you it all comes down to how much you weigh or how much you have packed on the Spyder.

I noticed more people flashing me when my wife is on the back around town... as it does pitch the nose up a few degrees.

I also notice that people think my brights are on, and that my motolights are blinding when I'm fully packed with both side cases and top case.

I probably need to adjust all my forward lights...

Just to add..I have my shocks set at .. fronts 5 / Rear 7.. don't think this would make much diff.

BTW.. I am 180 ... and nothing on the bike... unless I carry it all in the rear...:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::yikes:

I get flashed a few times each night I ride my 2011 RT, as others do, I give a quick blip to show I am not on hight beams

Be Safe
