• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

First Tank of Fuel

Well I finally rode the new 2014 RT enough to need to put gas in her.
135 Miles, 35.46 MPG, 93 Octane, not too bad even if it is not broke in yet.
Since I had a vacation day today I took a short trip back to the dealer
to get my spare tire cover and then the long way home :2thumbs:

:congrats: on the new ryde. Sounds like good mileage. I am guessing that the mileage will improve as you get more miles on.

Great..!!

Thats the way it goes...there is the way home and then there is the long way home. Spyders seem to do much better on the long way home. Keep ryding keep smiling etc etc...:2thumbs::ohyea:

:agree: Most of the "shortcuts", that I know, add at least an extra 15 miles to any trip!

Bogie,

GREAT first tank! Now, you can start stretching your range...
I used to always start looking for fuel at about 135 miles.
My first tank: 160.4
I've been up right at, or just over 200 miles ever since! :D
