• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Florida Caravan to Gatlinburg

Returning from LA, we stopped about every 100-120 miles.
I personally think 100 is a good number. usually time spent is about 15 minutes, for gas and whatever but upon occasion longer time.

Doc,
How often do you stop and take breaks...and for how long?
Your a machine, lol, not sure I can hang with you, but can try, if not, will just meet you guys there.

One stop (10 min) between refueling with cruising speed (limit+9) in the fast line. I would be the last rYder in this caravan (KewlMetal exhaust :yikes:).

Too funny!
OK, I'll just find you guys up there somewhere, thanks.

Hey.... are you saying you are not going to meet us in Lake City for the ride to Gattlinburg??????

I gotta take more breaks/little longer that what Doc does, my left shoulder blade area just burns like crazy after about 45-hour ride time even with the 4" risers.

We usually stop for a 10+ minute and strech our legs etc, at about 90 miles, and then move on to about 115-120 miles for fuel etc. that usually takes about 20+ minutes.. that is a guess..

In about 2 hrs ( 5am ET ) I will be headed to Gatlinburg, TN Hopefully arriving about 7PM.. It is rated for a 10.5 to 11.5 hour ride. Of course that depends upon how long the gas stops and road speed.

Of course I will be meeting Doc in Lake City, Fl between 7:30-8:00 AM..

Hey Lamonster,, do some kind of Mountain man non-rain for a week dance.:ohyea: Would be nice if dry.. and I thank you.:2thumbs:
