• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

is there any hint of blue? i want pure white without ANY hint of blueish tint. and is the beam of the light focused well?
my last set of hid had a lot of fluttering beam of lights. i guess what i am trying to say is it it had too much flooding light outside of it's intended area.

If you don't want blue-- you don't want 8000 -- step down to something in the 4300 range.

i had 6000k before and that was just pure white was wondering if i can get even whiter light with 8000k without getting blueish tint but everybody manufacturer's 6000k will be different so i was wondering if esi's 8000k will have blue hint to them or should i just stick with 6000k.

I have the 8000k ESI HID lights, and yes, they are pretty blue. It took a while to get used to seeing white road signs glowing blue! :yikes:

Personally, I like the blue, but that's just me.

I wouldn't go higher than your current 6000k then. The 8000 aren't any 'brighter' --- just a different spectrum of light.

I'm running 4300K's in all 4 and I can light up practically a football field in front of me..... :D

Do a search for a Kelvin scale. I don't know anything about lighting(as in headlights), but what I know about light from a photography standpoint, pure white light is around 5000K.
