There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
Found this foam block under my RT, did it come off it??

It looks like it might be a foam bumper block for the frunk lid.

Looks very porous - I had similar foam stuck around hot spots inside the Tupperware - not heat shield per se, but possibly something that could take heat without damage to the panels, at least that's what I guess they for. Some had reflective metal tape (my Spyder is a V-twin.)

So that's what was flying around my house the other day. Joking aside, I been working on my Spyder RT 2016 haven't seen anything like that. I know on the side panels there is some foam, but those panels have a silver material to help dissipate the heat, plus it's only half an inch thick. I'm sure someone will know what it is, and we will all know when another one of us finds the same piece under our Spyder. Ride Safe. GDoc
