• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Front shock advice

I am thinking of replacing the front shocks on my 2013 RTL with Elka stage 1 shocks, how hard is it to do this switch my self? Does the Frunk need to come off? Thanks in advance for any help.:bowdown:

On a 2013; it's a bit of a tight fit, but very do-able!
Get the bike up in the air JUST far enough to get the wheels off the ground...
The bottom shock mounts are real easy; I switched to open end wrenches, and 3/8" drive sockets for up on top.
(When I swapped shocks on my 2010... the same bodywork.)

Shocks...

changing shocks is a fairly simple thing to do and you don't have to remove the frunk. Removing it does make it easier and gives you a great chance to learn and do other tasks while there. If your weather is such that ryding is on hold you have the time. Dialing the shocks in for your ryde may take a bit of time and testing. Good project..good luck and take your time...

om my 13 rt i did the shocks myself but removed the frunk for ease of access. on the 14 rt i have now ron and his son did them for me and they did it w/o removing the frunk.
