There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Frunk Gasket Fell Off

On my '14 RT, after a shop visit, the round rubber gasket has fallen off. I 'believe' it is glued to the rigid gasket on the lip of the frunk. I noted that the ends fit under a flap with a snap release so I'm assuming that is where it goes. Any recommendation as to which adhesive to use?

Yes it does fit on that lip. One of the vendors on the home screen, Spyderpops, sells a replacement. It is worth the money to get it.

there are two parts to the gasket as I've seen at Spyderpops. The part that is friction fit onto the bike but it has a larger rubber gasket attached. My question here is can I repair it myself or should I order the $21.95 replacement?

As I see it, the gasket is there as abumper to prevent the hard hood from contacting the hard frunk lip ….. it also helps keeps dust / dirt out of the frunk ….. I personally would just use a few small strategically placed dabs of silicone … no one will ever see them …… or spend the money ….. Mike :ohyea:

you can use a little silicone if you want, but it is designed as a friction fit, to keep water out. it does slip off sometimes

As mentioned, it is friction only and tends to come off when stuffing the frunk with things. Make sure it is correctly in place each time you close the lid. If it is not, you could bind the lid making it hard to open. Not a big deal to just check before closing..... Jim

It is a push fit but the open push-on edge has wire inside the rubber, squeeze the edges together before replacing it to give it a tighter fit.

Seems to be some confusion so did it come off or did it become separated? IMG_1211.jpg IMG_1210.jpg if separated go ahead & replace worth the $& keeps frunk sealed properly. Not saying can't diy repair just might be more PITA than anyone should voluntarily try. SpyderPops replacement is cut to fit, did & done:firstplace: FYI mine failed after parked facing the sun too long the round upper part bonded to the lid & slowly began to tear away from the V lower 1/2 I didn't pay attention till was flapping about 6-8 inches down in the frunk ,annoyingly. :banghead:

The shop that some work on the bike seemingly ripped it mostly off. Not going back. Thanks for all who provide me information and assistance. I've ordered a replacement from Spyderpops. Thank you...
