There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Handle bar end mirrors

So I seen these mirrors on Amazon that are different from atypical bar end mirrors. They connect on the bar ends but actually come back over the handle bar. I thought they would help with my issue of not being able to see out of my stock mirrors on my F3 Limited. The design is spot on but the materials including the mirror glass is quite cheesey. I'm going to try them out but I doubt very seriously if they will stay on the bike. The bright side is they were only $20.00

The (glass) on my rt mirror is very cheap also--- so who knows?

I love R&R put another dime in the jukebox baby!

If the glass is really that bad,if/ when it breaks go to a glass shop and have them draw a template of the mirror and cut you a new one of decent stock. Are the handle bars hollow? or a solid bar?

I am interested in checking these out...

...because I can't see well around our Bunkhouse trailer when pulling. I need to check to see if the bars are solid or hollow. If I see this correctly, I have mirrors that use this attachment principle to the handlebars of my bicycle. Where can I check these out?

Bar end mirrors

Some very nice ones are from Joker Machine. All billet, top quality. I have had a set for 10 years, still perfect. Joe

Bar ends....

most bikes of all sorts have hollow bars. If you have bar ends they are for sure. Those look nice and I am sure they will work even with cheap glass. You really don't need to know the color of the eyes of the driver behind you..:roflblack: just how big he is and where he is. Bar end mirrors do get knock about more so adjustments are more often....Pictures when you get them...:lecturef_smilie:

Sounds like the perfect solution, acpd. For $20 you can determine if bar ends solve your problem, and if they do, and they fall apart, you can replace them with something like Joe's suggestion

Well to answer a few questions on these, I can say that on my F3 Limited the bars are not hollow. The mirrors I bought came with an allen screw that I had to cut down to length due to the fact that it bottomed out before it would tighten. So the bars are not hollow. Could be different on other models (I have heated grips). As for the the rest of the story, I figured the mirrors would vibrate excessively but they did not. I had a tapered allen screw that I used on the left side but I only had one of these so I cut the other to fit as described earlier. The chrome that I opted for when I ordered them was a little disappointing. Not very shiny at all. Kind of a dull chrome if that makes any sense. For the price I am very satisfied with them. I needed the break on the price after everything else I have put on that cost a small fortune!
