• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Headed South to the Dragon

Well I finished grading final exams, got my grades turned in and wife and I are headed for the Tail of the Dragon. The Dragon is still partially closed due to rock slides:( but we will check out the Cherohala Skyway and Moonshiners 28. This is the first visit by my wife and the Spyder is the only motorcycle she'll get on.:2thumbs:

Anybody in that area for the next few days might wish to join us.

The Dragon is open, you just have to start on the NC side. Once you get to the end you have to turn around and head back up.

Hope the weather holds for you, it's looking like rain. :sour:

Since you are going to be in the area, you might want to check out the Asheville Bikefest this weekend.

I stopped in Cinci to visit with family and they decided to join me. Now we are four with one Spyder. Fortunately we are trailering the Spyder (had to rent a U-Haul) so we will have 1 car + 1 Spyder and should be ok.

Rain schmain...

Anxious to hear your experience

I still have to grade my papers (my finals are on the 17th of May). Our scooter club is doing the tail of the dragon in July and several members are telling me I will not be able to do it on the Spyder.

Let me know how it is since I plan to do the route wit them.

By the way I guess I got grandfathered in to the scooter club since I used to own a Honda Silverwing. They are all jealous of the RTS, that's what I tell them, when they say it won't handle the ToD ride.
