• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Headset Cord leaving marks?

I have a silver RT and the headset cord was leaving marks on the glove box lid. A buddy turned me onto these things, they are great. You get two covers for $15.00 and that included shipping. Contact [email protected]

I noticed the same thing last summer on our RT-S. Now I just rout the cable over the handlebar on the left side, so there's no chance it'll touch the glovebox lid.

Even with a cover, the relative motion / vibration of the cover on the lid can marr the glossy finish, especially as road dust accumulates on the lid.

IMHO, the best way to prevent any marring or scuffing is to prevent contact of any kind.

Do you think a PowerSportsWraps on this area will help? That's what I've been thinking but just haven't found the look I want to blend in with the rest of the bike as is.

I asked him if he would do a discount for a group purchase. he was vague and said yeah he would but no details on how many he would want and how much of a discount. :cus:
