• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Helmet liner / beanie. Suggestions needed.

Ok, I'm quite follicularly challenged. Riding my Spyder more to work. Red marks on head from helmet. I've tried a few liners but I just have marks where seams are. And I hate if they cover my ears. This is not for warmth, that's not needed in AZ!

Thoughts on what I should try? If needed, I have Shoei neotec modular but might move to bell Sena 3/4 helmet for summer.

Its a solid 35-70 min ride one way depending on traffic.

Thanks!

I know a few that traded their do rags for a welder cap , fit like the rag with just lil more meat helped soak the sweat off & after or local Boardwalk was built we we visiting & a (smaller than Barney fife) security guy had to daringly ask the 5 of us (good sized country boys) to remove our do rags or be kicked off property for "Dress code" violation. Being civil & in line at movie theater yes we were out going to see Wild hogsnojoke & grab a bite where ever :2thumbs: We behaved & found a loop hole to the rules & made them have to look twice a few times there after.

Do Rag

I watched football for many years and saw those things that the pros wear. I got the name brand and sent away for two but when I received them and tried them on they were so tight they gave me a massive headache in ten minutes! I checked and they didn't come in larger sizes, basically "One size fits all!" I gave up and went bk to the basic do rag!

Try a BUFF. All kinds of colors & patterns.
They are convertible to perform different tasks including doo rag.
Ewan & Charlie wore them during their "Long Way Down" ride.

I have 2 of the Raci-Babi Helmet liners. First got a black one, but it kept getting lost with all the other black motorcycle gear. So bought a lime green one. I really like it.

I usually wear the head rag. I do have a Heat-Out skull cap that I wear in the summer. Cycle Gear has them. About $5.00 I think.

I use these all the time and really like them.

Have you tried Sliks or Coolmax liners? I like the Sliks and use one whenever I ride. I have found it also reduces the road noise as I ride.

I shoulda said, I tried the coolmax liners from cyclegear. U could see every seam it had on my head after a ride. This was right after I bought my new helmet, so perhaps would be better now. So I want to stay away from seams. I watched this video. https://youtu.be/e-dE3WFaObk

so might have to try the buff. Thanks!

Live got the Sliks in both winter and summer version. The Summer one is a Silver Eagle brand made from the CoolMax material. When CoolMax material washes and drys quickly so it gets washed out after every warm weather ride. It's still going after 10+ years of use.
