• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone tried the shake helmet speakers from www.tunebug.com I picked ua cheap set from local tiger store today, not tunebug but kind of the same idea.Mounted it on my helmet with my ipod and went for a ride, now I dont hear well I wear two hearing aids but not with helmet on.I cant hear my radio or ipod on spyder even with ear buds but had no trouble hearing my ipod at 110kmh going into a brisk headwind. The shake even has bluetooth and can be paired with gps phone or ipod

It's a very cool idea and concept, but unfortunately it doesn't work well with motorcycle helmets. Here's what I found in the FAQ section:
Does the Shake work with a motorcycle helmet?
Not really. More power is required to overcome the combination of helmet weight and ambient motorcycle noise.

I have a modular helmet and I fastend the speaker to the flip front no insulation and had lots of volume I had at first fastend it to the back of helmet and did not have as much volume

So you did get it to work well?

Any chance you can post a picture? :)

Tunebug seems to also have one called the Quake which they claim "works on a Harley at 80mph"
