• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello

A gigantic thank you to all the forum people who posted Ryker info. I lurked and read everything on here. Dealer didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. I now own a 2021 Ryker rally. Just bought it three days ago. I only have about 180 miles on it so far, so I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination.

Haven't ridden a motorcycle in about 25 years and I wasn't a proficient rider then. My last riding experience was bad, we worked on a bike, the jet needle was stuck, thought we fixed it. Road rash and cinders. Anyway, took possession of the ryker, road it around in the dealer parking lot, then off to the races.

Initial impression, easy to ride and drive, almost too easy. I feel as though it rode better at highway speeds, more stable. I installed one mod at the dealer, an adventure sport windshield because it looked like rain that day. I've only had it up to about 78 so far going downhill on the highway (not intentional, just didn't notice the speed increase).

I got to experience stop and go traffic leaving the city, bridge expansion joints, construction, grooved concrete, and getting tailgated and wedged. 107 miles later I was home. Yeah, kinda silly, drove it home from the closest dealer with one in stock. My "follow car" disappeared at about 3 miles into the ride and didn't see them again for about an hour.

Pretty fun in the mountains with the twists and turns.

I'm not doing any mods on the bike (except for maybe the brake lock), until I have at least 500 miles on it and have a better feel for it.

Thanks again.

:coffee: The Ryker is a nice Bike and I demo one in 2019 for my wife. She like it and took the 3-wheel riding course. But do to covid-19 and health issues we have put it on hold. Enjoy your Ryker Rally. ...
