• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Digital fuel gauge

Anyone know of a fix for my digital fuel gauge? It just shows empty white rectangles all the way up. The temperature gauge has yellow squares filled in as the temperature goes up, my fuel gauge just stays white. Is there a reset somehow to correct this problem?

Hi Dandee, welcome to the Forum.

As Little Blue mentioned, now that your Username has turned Blue & all the registration processing is complete, you should be able to open the other sections on the Forum & post a new thread in one of them asking your question - I'd suggest that your question would be best off in the F3 Shop Talk section.... so go to the index page for that section before clicking on '+Post New Thread' in the red box, top right corner above all the listed threads.

That said, there is no simple reset for your gas gauge. If it was just a loose connection, then you wouldn't see the either of those digital gauges, they work on a 'both or neither' basis, so I think you might find the solution to your dodgy reading may entail pulling the tank out & replacing the fuel sender/pick-up, and that's a bit of a pig of a job!
