• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hydrographics

Here are pics of some hydrographics (AKA water transfer printing), that I did awhile back. You have to do the same prep as painting. Actually it is the same as painting a part but with a extra step. I do not care for the black/yellow carbon fiber that I put on will be changing that later to something else (maybe black/silver carbon) when I get the time. All black areas were done except the dash and rear black area. Ran out of time before I could get to these parts. Thinking maybe some flames on topside of dash and maybe wood grain on the gauge part of the dash:dontknow:.
Also thinking about putting them skulls on the recessed area of the frunk:dontknow:. Any suggestions welcomed. BTW In case you are wondering where the spyder is at. I am in Texas on a job, sitting in my toyhauler while it is raining. No riding today.:banghead:

Is this the stuff that's done in a tank where you float the pattern on the surface then dip the part on which you want the pattern??? I've never seen it done. But, it sure looks nice on your Spyder!!!!

Yep that is it, and thanks!

Great looking paint. Do you do this yourself or did you have it done? I might be interested in getting some pieces done.

Very interesting finish :2thumbs:... I think that one of my ATVing buddies had his Grizzly's bodywork dipped... A Vietnam-era tigerstripe camo pattern. At the time we were all pretty curious as to how well it would hold up... it did just fine in the trees, rocks and mud!
