I got lost in NC mountains

Well, not really, but I rode a lot of roads that I had never been on before this past Saturday. This is video from one of the best - Beech Mountain Road near Banner Elk. Note the pit bull that came after me in the first few seconds of the vid - that gave me a good shot of adrenaline.

Looks like an awsome place to ryde. I wish I had some roads around here that were like that. I do know of some places where the dogs will run out into the street after you like that though.

Garmin has a nice download for scenic rides through North and South Carolina. I'm hoping to use this at Maggie Valley and then in October when my wife and I plan on being up in North Carolina.

Thanks for all of the positive comments. Here's vid from the same day of another really fun road - Hickory Nut Gap Road. Please bear with the few seconds that I was behind the cager. For the most part, I had these roads to myself all day. You can see a lot of Christmas tree farming in this area.
