• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, not really, but I rode a lot of roads that I had never been on before this past Saturday. This is video from one of the best - Beech Mountain Road near Banner Elk. Note the pit bull that came after me in the first few seconds of the vid - that gave me a good shot of adrenaline.

Nice vid thanks for sharing:2thumbs:

Looks like an awsome place to ryde. I wish I had some roads around here that were like that. I do know of some places where the dogs will run out into the street after you like that though. :D

:2thumbs: Taking the road that is off the beaten path is sometimes a very pleasant surprise. I have found myself doing that a lot lately.

Garmin has a nice download for scenic rides through North and South Carolina. I'm hoping to use this at Maggie Valley and then in October when my wife and I plan on being up in North Carolina.

Thanks for all of the positive comments. Here's vid from the same day of another really fun road - Hickory Nut Gap Road. Please bear with the few seconds that I was behind the cager. For the most part, I had these roads to myself all day. You can see a lot of Christmas tree farming in this area.
