• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I NEED NEW HEAD LIGHTS!

I would like to upgrade my standard headlights, any suggestions. I do have the fog lights installed, wonder if I can swap them with the standard headlights then add MM's high intensity lights?
Seems like the highbeams on the standard should be replacing the lowbeams, because the lowbeams are useless at night when traveling speeds over 45....or maybe I'm just getting old!

You can buy HID kits for either the headlights or the Fogs --- or do both!

NMN/ ESI sells them.

I have both NMN HID's onfog and headlights. It is awesome over half my riding is at night and would not be without them, alsocheck aiming in owners manual it gives good directions on how to properly adjust healights give that a try also:thumbup:

I have both sets too and wouldn't have anything else. Great visibility at night plus they are safer during the daylight espacially on high beam. You need the BRP fog lights to use the NMN ones anyway so you're halfway there. I'd say make the investment

That is a great idea also

NMN HIDs

Have 2 Spyders mine 2009 has NMN HID's both headlights and fog lights. These things really light up. I was joking to a friend of mine about them that I have to open the garage door so I don't burn the paint off of it because they were so bright.
Hate riding her 2008 at night with the factory lights.
NMN HID's are the second best mod that I have - only second to the NMN risers that make it much nore comfortable to ride.
They test and use their own products I have others of NMN's mods also quality and price are unbeatable with them.
Oh yea and I must say that I am not a mechanic at all and I called them with a question and they heard the phone ring this was after hours and they answered it went back in the shop to look at what I was talking about. Best customer service I've ever had on any thing I've bought. Very helpful people. :2thumbs:

Thanks to all your responses, I'll give NMM a call this week and order a set. I take it's easy to install, and to make any beam adjustments.

I can still use my factory fog lights?

you might as well as get the fog light hid as it's gonna look awful with hid headlights and save on shipping:D plus fog without hid will become useless with hid headlights.

I see your point...is this a do it your self install?

hid fog lights are easy and only hard thing about hid headlights are getting the hid bulbs in the socket. that's with any hid kit, because of thickness of the hid blub plastic plate plus location of the headlight bulbs. i know this has been brought up before but things you have to do to change headlight bulb is ridiculous.
i can not decide what's worse, headlight bulbs or tail light bulbs.:D

I have an extra set of the stock light and don't know what to do with them, why I have an extra set you ask. I was looking to get the fog light kit and was hoping that the head light would fit where the fog light go but after getting the fog light kit and looking at both the fog lights are much smaller and do no think they will fit so now I have an extra head light set, maybe I will keep them as a spare or trade for something else.
