• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I was perfectly happy until!

I have a perfectly good '09 RS Spyder that was just fine. But no my wife had to insist that she wasn't happy siting behind me on it. Too much wind Too much this and to little that etc. So as she insisted that I must get an RT-S I pulled the trigger and bought a new 2012 RTS in Blue this Saturday with the 4 year warrantee (2 years BRP and 2 years Best ) The financing was better at 5 years for 6.99% than the $199 advertised rate which turned out to be 84 months at 7.9%. Anyway the dealer (Tomberlin here in Augusta Ga ) gave me a great deal and were great to work with. Anyway she's on travel, and does not know about the RT. in fact her version of whether she insisted or not may not exactly line up with the above. So if I go missing in the next few weeks please dial 911 for me OK?

:congrats: on the new RT. You probably have time to do some mods before she see the new :spyder:to make it even better!:roflblack:

Very good! If it's on the bike when she first sees it; it came that way from the factory! :2thumbs: :roflblack:
Just hide the accessories brochure!!

OH NO!! She will LOVE it!! My husband wanted one, and we have NEVER owned a motorcycle, I went to shop HOPING I wouldnt like it. I sat on it and asked the salesperson... "how much?" !!! it is a wonderful piece of machine, so much fun! She will enjoy riding it.

:congrats:

As the mods packages arrive, just tell her that you got in on a limited time offer. The "Mod-A-Month" promotion. That should clear you for a year!

tricking the wife

Ya gotta be careful trying to trick the wife. I thought i had mine snookered into believing I hadn't looked at or priced the spyder .Walked into the showroom with her and the salesman walked right up , called me by name and said "Glad you brought the wife this time ". Not much to say at that point but in the end it all worked out....she ended up telling me that I wasn't buying the spyder I wanted , the cheaper one.....she wanted the RTS viper red with goodies. Oh well , it worked for me ....LOL

:congrats: on the RTS. If she enjoyed riding with you but didn't like the comfort level of the RS then you should be okay. If, however, she didn't like riding with you at all then you are probably in big trouble.

:congrats: on the new ryde. I am pretty sure you will get the rest of the details worked out. I know she will like the RT--its a big change from the RS.

Well she would ride on the RS only locally around town but would follow in the clubs Sag Wagon for longer overnight rides. As she does not like to make idle chit chat with the other non riders being on the back of an RTS will be just the thing.......I Hope! I'll keep you all informed each step of the way so you all can testify at her trial, just in case it goes really badly.
Did I mention she has a Black Belt in Karate and is pretty comfortable around assault weapons? At least she was when she was in the Chinese Army.
