PS) I was stationed in England from Sep '61 to Aug '62; one of the young, single doctors in the USAF hospital that I worked in bought himself a baby blue XKE couple. I'm fairly sure that he got lucky quite often with that car.

Yeah, and that's ^^ just another reason I'm much more impressed with the newer F-Types & the F-Pace SUV's - IMO they're much nicer looking cars too. Got a test drive of the F-Pace with the bigger Diesel booked, altho luckily they want some words to go in a 4WD mag, so I'm not really expected to buy... but I'd still like one! :thumbup:
