• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Thought I would start a thread for everyone to let us know you made it home safe. To borrow a saying from Gene we would like to know when all "our friends who we finally met" make it home safe.

Oops - I posted just a second ago on the Missouri Rendezvous thread, but I'm home, too. Here's hoping everyone makes it safely - including our long distance friends, Deb and Brian, Lamont and BajaRon and all the Florida guys. It was a pleasure meeting everyone - including the great local Cowtown folks!
I think we can all agree this was one great time.

"That's not a knife----this is a knife"

HOME AT LAST-----and I am depressed-----stopped for lunch --had to pay for it----stopped for soda and chips had to pay for it---its just not fair.
I feel like starting a knife fight.

Thanks Cowtown

You don't have to have your eyes open you have a good back up driver.

Made it home in one piece. I have a lot to say and a lot of folks to thank for such a great weekend but I'm going to catch up with the fam right now. It was a great trip and Spyderfest was the icing on the cake. Thanks to all that made it happen and made me feel welcome.:doorag:

Made it home around 9:15.... Someguy should be home sometime after 10:00.

Pretty good weather for riding (no rain). Total trip (both ways plus the rydes while there) ended up around 1,300 miles. Did around 550 miles today... my longest day of ryding yet.. and it wasn't as painful as I thought!

Last hour of the ryde home got cold... was 48 degrees when I pulled in the driveway...:yikes:

Had a GREAT time... will post more later..... right now I hear the hot tub calling my name!

aaahhhhh!!!

All,
I made it home, had my nap, snacked on some "Spyder Legs", and am kicked back catching up on email. Keep the updates coming! It's nice to know when you all are home safe and sound. I can't tell you all enough how much we enjoyed hosting you all this weekend! Good times--where's the next event so I can just come and party :2thumbs:

By the way--Someone left a camera in the breakfast room of the hotel. Please send me a private message describing it and I'll get it back to you.

Home safe & sound. What a weekend :2thumbs: meet great people & hope I made new friends. rode route 94 from Herman to west Alton what a great ride. Thanks to everyone. :ohyea::yes: :2excited: next year

Love My :spyder2:

Brian and I got home about 9:45 pm almost exactly 11 hours after we left Cuba. That included all of our gas stops and one longer food stop (questions and gawkers, so figure lol) Like Dan said it got cold on the way home near the end. It was down to 41 by the time we pulled in the driveway. My spyder made it safe and sound, but loud and hot. The heat was a bit of a double edged sword, it kind of felt good with it being cold out but then the cold air would hit you right after you were warm and that made me even colder. Does that make any sense? (imagine taking a warm piece of clothing out of the dryer, putting it on and then stepping out into the cold right away) Anyway, Thanks again to Len for his quick fix to even make it bearable to get my spyder home. As Lamont stated, I am sure I have a lot more to say and will add it to my Cuba Rocks thread once I get warmed up and get some sleep. Thank you again everyone, I just can't say it enough.

I'm home a very interesting day for myself and SethO more to come on this tomorrow after work for I need to sleep

Oh did i mention i had a rider Saturday night----more on that later

Good night
Jim:thumbup:

Made in home.....

Linda and I made it home safe and sound but St. Louis isn't that far to go. Had to take a nap yesterday, we were wore out from all the fun. It was great meeting all of you, what a beautiful weekend weather wise. Outstanding job by all those at CowTown.

Spyder Bill and I made it home safe. I got in around 1:30 P.M. Bill stopped off at his cabin in Warsaw .Mo to mow the grass. He called me later in the day to say he had made it in O.K. We had a great time, sure enjoyed meeting everyone.

I just heard from the Florida Express Gang! They are doing fine, they are leaving Birmingham, Al now. They will post and let us know when they arrive :2thumbs:

Have a safe trip home you guys :D

I'm Home!

I really enjoyed my time at the fest. That Mo. gang does know how to throw throw a party!! Thanks a bunch to all, especially to Mr. and Mrs. Pitbull for their hospitality and a chance to see truly devoted Spyderlovers!
It was great to renew acquaintances with some from last fall and meet more members that I can now associate with their avatars.
I caught up with Jedd an Setho and hope that they got the problem fixed satisfactorilly. Thanks again to all !!!!!!!!:2thumbs:

Great Trip!
Great Event!
Great Ride Home!

Of course I have to ride farther than Lamont so he got home sooner than I did. :D

But I handled the extra distance with no issues. :yikes:

Thanks again, everyone, for an exceptional time. We will just have to do this again! :ohyea:

I think we have two other groups out there floating yet, well one group and the other is a SOLO rider,, lets not forget about YAZZ... I know she had planned a two day ride back, possibly three and traveling to Houston TX area, so YAZZ and the FL Crew safe travels..
