• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

:agree::yes: Wait until you get to a left turn signal-left turn lane. Happens to me all the time!! The loop wiring under the asphalt won't pick up our spyders or motorcycles in general due to our weight and overall smaller footprint.:ohyea:
It's not weight nor size that triggers the loop signal, it's steel. Our Spyders don't have enough steel to disturb the magnetic field enough to trigger the signal. More and more cities are going to camera based signal control. Those do see the Spyder OK. Many states have a turn on red provision in their traffic laws that allow motorcycles to make a turn or go through a red light if you have sat there through two or three cycles and not gotten a green light.

You can turn left without an arrow as long as the straight-ahead light is green, and there's no "NO TURN ON RED" sign. Just pull through the light, and yield to the oncoming traffic the same as a non-signaled intersection.

I HATE it when some dumb yahoo in front of me does NOT do that, and just sits there through another whole cycle waiting for an arrow! :banghead:
