• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

It DOES Exist!

 Here's to hoping, that as the temperatures go down; the fuel mileage goes UP! :2thumbs:

(When I had my 2010; I would start looking for fuel at about 135 miles... that bike regularly got me 33 mpg/ It must be differences in our riding styles...)

Consider also, in regards to mileage or efficiency, tire scrub from excessive toe in or toe out will keep the Spyder from rolling freely.

I am sure others will talk about tire pressures, low pressures with a bad alignment seems exponentially worse for mileage.

I would also suspect the harder compound rear tires will increase mileage also. With three efficient tires the mileage should be best since the harder fronts with good alignment will have the least amount of scrub.

If only it had a driveshaft or chain...

The tire compound is an interesting thought. My Spyder came with the soft compound OEM rear tire - the one they are no longer selling. It's pretty well shot at 7200 miles. I've got an sDrive waiting for me at Netzley tire after my bike comes out of the shop for the recall. Maybe between the recall, and the new tire, my MPG will improve a bit. (Although I still can't figure out how converting from a return fuel system to a deadhead system is going to improve mileage.)

Thanks. And you are probably right. My Spyder rides fairly aggressively for an RT, and probably carries more weight than yours. ;)
