• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I've Got A Sinking Feeling...

96" of rain???
If that was a wet and very "packy" snow: it would be about 672" of white snot...
That's 56 feet of it: PERFECT!!!

I am just reading the thread. No political post here--although I am tempted. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Interesting stats about water. :bowdown::bowdown:

D,
Do you guys ever get any wet snow up there?
Around here; we usually figure that an inch of rain will make 7" of that wet crap...

...But about twice as much powder! :clap:

We do get wet snow here. I usually refer to it as "heart attack" snow. The number that I am familiar with is one inch rain = one foot of snow. :thumbup: :thumbup:

I imagine that the same thing would happen in New York City, if every toilet was flushed at the same moment... :roflblack:
Link leads to a current story about a chemical plant. Story must have been so heavy it sank off the 'net! :roflblack:
Wastewater folks in big cities can tell you exactly when half time comes in a football game based on the sudden increase in sewer flow! :roflblack:
