Has anyone tried this tire yet? I'm looking for a rear tire for my wifes 2010 RT.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looks like a nice tire, what size are you planning to run? I'm running a 215/60/15 Michelin Primacy that works well an I have over 10,000 miles on it with 7/32 of tread left. Plus it puts your speedo right on with the GPS. Look at that size for many options.

i haven't tried this tire on either SPYD3R, but i'm here to tell you they work like magic on my INFINITY..... 50,000 miles and i swear they are only at 'half-life'.... handling is EXCELLENT, wet or dry... quiet... KUMHO is my tire, i wouldn't use anything else...

That's the size I'm planning on using as well, Tire Rack gave it a good review but I thought I would ask you folks about it, I feel better when I've spoken to someone who has bought one as opposed to someone who is selling one. Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the reply. You pretty much confirmed what Tire Rack said in their review but I would rather hear it from a buyer than from a seller.

I did research on this tire (platnum series), it is not symetrcal by design and is meant to be mounted on paired wheels (a pair in the front or back). I have not tried it but I was told that using on a single wheel may affect handling adversly.
