Laughlin River Run

Please be advised. If you are planning on attending the 2015 Laughlin River Run this week that the Nevada State Department of Transportation has decided to oil or slurry highway 163 this week, Tuesday-Thursday. Highway 163 is the road between Highway 95 (main highway from Las Vegas) to Laughlin. As of today, Monday, this project is still a go. :gaah:

Should be be really good for those custom paint jobs.

Wow, that will suck. I remember in Lake Havasu a few years ago they did the same thing the week of the Jet Ski World finals. It makes you wonder what the road departments are thinking. These aren't once in a blue moon events but ones held at the same time every year. :banghead:

It's a way for them to slow traffic down without tying up a lot of enforcement resources.
