There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Left turn signals don't go on - 2018 F3 Ltd! Any ideas/solution thoughts?

Good morning!
Yesterday I noticed my left turn signals don't go on... I think it's not a fuse problem, cause the right signals work fine, but I can't cancel them.
The only way to cancel the right turn signal is by pressing the Hazard/warning light and then cancelling it.

So the Left Turn signal lights don't go on at all; the right turn signal lights do, yes, but I can't cancel them except by activating and cancelling the Hazard/warning lights.

I'll appreciate any ideas and possible solutions. Thank you very much.

Yeah, whenever some function operated by the Left Hand Multi-function switch, is malfunctioning on a 2018, I think of this issue here in this Warranty Bulletin:

https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2018/MC-10144016-9999.pdf

It does not mention whether or not this problem is limited to just North American models. I see that you are in Spain. It does talk about the gear shifting function as being a symptom, but doesn't rule out turn signals, though. I imagine that you would have to pursue this with whatever dealer situation you have over there, if you believe this could be the problem. Good luck.

Thank you very much. I'll speak with dealer, but I think it will not still be in warranty. Yes, I guess the problem is the multi control switch. I had the problem in another F3 in the past. Thx again!

The bulletin appears to only cover down shifting issues or shifting into reverse and not a blinker issue. Although I believe the circuits are different, they both reside in the LH multifunction switch assembly.

Short of having BUDS, going to the dealer or just parts swapping (it is labor intensive) your best bet is to see if you can check where you are losing the signal (voltage) by using a DMM and the electrical diagram. (easer said than done if you are not electrical savvy)

Based on the symptoms alone, the LH module/ switch sounds suspect. Perhaps if the switch contacts are accessible, they could just be dirty or have some corrosion. A little cleaning may go a long way. ??

EDIT: If your wiring is the same as the 2023, then the switch does appear to reside in the enclosed (potted/ sealed) switch assembly and not a separate accessible switch. It also appears that in my case at least, everything but the HI/LO Beam and Horn Switch are CAN BUS controlled..... not easy to test, even with a DMM, diagram or knowledge. BUDS would be the best bet short of swapping parts. Sorry.

In the end I went to the dealership where they confirmed the anomaly of the turn signal switch. They tried to solve it by filing the damage caused by use and lowering the plastic piece that holds the assembly. Although it worked most of the time, some of the time it didn't, so it seemed safer to change the entire remote control. Since they didn't have the spare part, they gave me the 2024 model and it works perfectly. It was not necessary to remove the connectors or disassemble them. With a little patience they were able to make the change without further ado. thank you all for your help.
