• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Limp mode code P0000

Dwight

RT-S SE PE#0192
OK, can anyone help me with that code (P0000)? I posted the thread on the RT-S limp home. I just tried the Mode-Set-Turnsignal trick to read the codes, I had to start it up for it to work but it did show this code in the display screen. I don't have a shop manual yet so can't read it. I appreciate anyones help on this.

Thanks
Dwight

If the RT is like the RS, it will only display active codes. You would need to hook up to BUDS to read any historic codes.

So---I'm good to go?:2thumbs: Thanks man! I hope pushing on all of those fuses cured it. Seriously, thanks Lamont.

That's nothing.
:agree: My shop manual doesn't list a code P0000. The first P code listed is P030. The manual also says, as Scotty suggested, that it only reads Active codes. What they refer to as Inactive codes and Occurred codes require BUDS to read.

Thanks Cotton, good information. Next time I'm at the dealers I'm gonna order a manual. I know there are CD copies but I need paper!!

FYI:

When you order the CD from Midwest Manuals on ebay they immediately send you a link for a PDF that you can download onto your computer. The file contains 744 pages, any of which are printable.

Total cost for both the CD and PDF copy is $27.00 or so, which includes shipping .

:agree: I paid $24.88 on Ebay with free shipping. I actually like the CD or downloaded .pdf file better than paper because:

I can print just the pages I need and not have to worry about getting them greasy, dirty, torn, whatever when I'm working. Mess them up, just print new ones.

I can electronically search for words, terms, etc. which makes it easier to find stuff.

But, as they always say, different strokes for different folks.
