• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Link to pics of our Spyder

Thanks; I just wish I had pictures of my first two bikes - a Whizzer Ambassador and a Whizzer Sportsman (later, Triumph-powered!). A lot of things I built back then I just didn't think of taking pictures!

I'll second that motion! I have pictures of every car my dad ever owned, but very few of my rides. Not many of the early bikes or cars, almost none of any of the race cars, and not one of the race bikes, sleds, or hydros. Like you said, we we busy doing stuff, and didn't think much about pictures. I wish I had pics of the various places we lived, too.

]I'll third that emotion! I'd give practically ANYTHING for a picture of my 55 MG-TF I bought when I was in the army. I've got pics of OTHER MG-TF's, but mine was special. In it's last incarnation, it had a 375 fuelie set back 14" hooked to a Torqueflite and driving a Healey rear end, 60 spoke Healey wheels, louvered hood, and nerf bar front bumper. Purists hated it almost as much as did Vette and Cobra drivers, but I LOVED it

:roflblack: You're sicker than I am! :D I put a small block Chevy in a bugeyed AH Sprite, and thought that was a stretch.

Not to hijack the thread, but you guys are making me ill....... I lost a '52 MGTD to Hurricane Ike, had it for 35 years. The Spyder was the replacement toy. Well, sort of....nothing can replace a post WWII British sports car!

I restored a '53 TD and took a national 1st with it. Then I sold it to what I thought was a legitimate collector. He stripped it, reported it stolen, and collected big buck on insurance. last I heard insurance investigators caught up with him!
The TD was authentic and perfect, but the TF was COOL and FUN!

I added the stage 2 package from Popspyder. Haven't taken it for a ride yet to see if I notice a different. I had already put some pipe insulation around the radiator, but Popspyder's pieces are much less crude. It all went well with very little trouble, but I could have cut a half hour off the install if I head READ the instructions to ALL of the kits before starting. I took some panels off and put them back on three times!
