Took the Spyder out to visit family yesterday, Lily was following in the truck due to a bad case of monkey butt from the previous two days. Headed home and the clouds were building so I stopped for gas and checked radar on my phone and sure enough there was a red in color storm headed south toward the house.
problem was it was 25 miles from home and I was 50 miles from home headed north, the question was could I beat it home. Did I mention the road home was the same one that was the fun part of the Fort ride during Spyderfest Hwy17. We made it home with 10 minutes to spare, Lily did a good job with the 220HP Chev blessed the Colorado with, maybe being married to me over 35 years helped a little too.
