• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Maybe a silly question

This may be a silly questions but I am going to ask it anyways? Has anyone removed the inside of the saddle bag on the RT? Anything I should know about before I do so?

Haven't had mine apart that I remember but I wouldn't be suprised if the inside screws are what hold the outside on.

I think you are venturing into new frontiers here. Please keep us posted. A towel under the work area may catch unsuspected things for you.

I have removed mine, not problems under there.

I wired an LED strip light that points down when the lid is open. I first set a battery pack in the space between the two sections but have it hard wired to the 12v outlet now.

hmmmm

Today I actually had some time to tinker with my saddle bag. I took out all 6 screws and all the screws do is hold on the outside. I was hoping that I could actually remove the "cup" and put something in it place.

So here is a question. What do you all do with the Dead Space in your saddle bags?

I use an elastic net system I got on Ebay that attaches to the inside of the door of the saddle bag. I put my rain gear, Travel cover, and other light weight bulky items. The net works great. I can get you the name tomorrow, its too cold to go out to my garage and look at the label tonight.
