• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Am I mis-remembering (I am getting to the age when memory fails) or has the number of members dropped by a few thousand recently?

Interesting....🤔

Was wondering myself but being in that same stage of hit and miss I let it go....:roflblack:

I note the total has dropped from 25K to 19K. If anyone takes the time to peruse the 625 page list, you will note that there are pages and pages of 00 statistics for many that played the game just to get on line to post. Guessing that many of those people took a look and just went elsewhere.

Recently, I am noticing an influx of "older" members coming back as well as many "new" members coming on the site.

We did not lose anything by getting rid of inactive, non members.

Nice catch though.

The numbers would be correct, i removed a lot of user accounts that registered on a given day, then never returned, typically 1 year or longer inactive & zero posts.

Typically all user accounts with posts & inactive over a year with a failing email address are placed in an inactive usergroup as well.

Here's my post to keep me active. As an original member, I no longer own a Spyder but do check out the site daily!
