• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Memory card for Zumo

I want to purchase a memory card for my new Zumo and I wanted to know how large of a card I can purchase. In other words if I purchase a 32gig will the Zumo be able to read it? The reason why I ask is that I've purchased large memory devices in the past only to find out the electronic device would only read a smaller size. Has anybody had any experience with this?

I cannot find a quick reference, but I believe that the max is 16G. The higher speed card types will work best.

8 GB will work if you have your firmware up to date. 4GB or less if you don't.

There's really no reason to use anything over 4gb though--- because the zumo (at least the 550) can only recognize 1,000 songs maximum.

Zumos limitations frustrate me. Why can't it read songs or Internet radio from an iPhone? Why the song limitations?

I don't believe that limitation applies to the 660. However, it seems to work best if the songs are broken up into several playlists, rather than one big folder.
