• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

 He's got to be one very tough Dude...
For surviving for that length of time, without help...
And for admitting his fault so candidly.

He was candid once he realized he was probably gonna die there. Maybe he'd have been so candid anyway, but I think we get really honest when we are at our end. JMHO.

BTW, Bob, your avatar is creeping me out.

Wow...!!

Much like boating...you should never go out without someone knowing where you are going and when you should be back. I also use the followmee app so I can be located (or followed by the wife) in case I am unable to get the word out. Glad he was found in time and do send prayers to the family and friends of the fallen friend.. be safe out there and think ahead even if morbid....:lecturef_smilie:

And like hunting. Since I have entered the 8th decade of life, and hunt wild game alone most often, I always tell my wife where I plan to spend my day. And if I move from the area, I call and let her know. Dunno about her, but it makes me feel better.
