• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Motorcycle Ride for DAD

This past weekend, I was fortunate enough to have a Spyder on loan from BRP to ride in the Motorcycle Ride for DAD, a Canada-wide fundraiser for prostate cancer research and education. The weather was perfect, and so was the Spyder! After having the chance to ride a Spyder on virtually all types of roads (urban, rural, superhighways, etc.) I think I can say I really "get" the Spyder. It is a beautiful machine. Handles like a dream, hugs the road, and is very comfortable on a long ride.
Our ride was very successful. In my city (London, Ontario), we raised over $55,000 for the cause.
Cheers,
Bruce

Very cool that you chose to participate in this fundraiser. A very worthy cause.
Hey, were you the ONLY Spyder in the event?

Hi Derwin.
Yes, I had the only Spyder. It sure drew a lot of attention. I must have fielded a couple hundred questions. I have been involved in this event since it came to my city in 2004. I am a member of the organizing committee, and I really enjoy being involved.
Best,
Bruce

Awesome Bruce! We are having the Peel Region Ride for Dad this weekend. I wish my bike were here...or that brp would lend ME an SE5 for the Ride :-* Oh well, wanting the SE5 will hold things up a little, but well worth the wait IMO anyway. Maybe i will get to London NEXT YEAR for this very worthwhile event

Good stuff. I am sure Peel will do an awesome job on their ride. You are going to love the Spyder. It will be worth the wait!

What a great cause. It is so nice to see people involved in helping others. The dealership that loaned you the Spyder gets kudos as well. Keep up the good work.
