• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My experience with Custom Dynamics

I called into Custom Dynamics (CD) on December 27, to place order. I ordered a lots of lights. At no time did they say that it was a shortage, out of stock or unavailable of any items. I proceeded to make my order and pay them. I received my order yesterday evening. To my surprise, one of the main lights. I was waiting for (RTS brake light) was not there. On the invoice for that line item it said will ship when available. My question is when I place my order, why didn't someone tell me it was unavailable. Or is it they just wanted my money. Have you ever read the disclaimer for returns, exchanges and cancellations. They will close last night, I'm going to call them this morning. Bad business.:lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie::lecturef_smilie:

Just a simple case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing.. You have order takers and order pullers.. But with todays technology the computer should've flagged the order.. Never done business with them but have seen nothing but good comments.. I'm sure they'llmake it right in the end.. "That is Good Business"

This is pretty common with a lot of smaller suppliers. The big boys use robots to pull the inventory so they know exactly what they have on hand the moment the order is placed, even if two orders are being processed for the last one on the shelf. While annoying it is not out of the ordinary. They should be able to give you an anticipated delivery date. From there you can call other suppliers to see if they have stock and if so, cancel this order and buy the one in stock if it critical to get the part sooner.

Good luck with it.

I talked with Dave from CD this morning and he informed me that an email is sent out confirming orders and that if there is an item on back order or out of stock, it is mentioned in the email. Since the email comes from [email protected] your spam filter could be keeping you from seeing it. Check your online email and spam folder to see if it was sent there. This has happened to me on many occasions.
