• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My Running lights are staying on - 2020 Spyder RTL! Any ideas?

Came back from 3 hour ride and the running lights never turned off. I removed the key, did a restart, nothing worked. After 2 hours, I disconnected the battery for 2 seconds and that shut the lights off. I turned key back on and the running lights came on, turned key off, the running lights went off. It seems whatever controls those lights got stuck. I don't want this to repeat itself. Any ideas?

By "Running Lights", I assume you are talking about the lights on the front of the front fenders, that also double as the turn signals. The Running Lights, License Plate light, and the red Tail Lights are all on the same circuit. Powered from F1R. They are controlled directly from the ignition switch. No Relays, No time delay. So, I can't explain the disconnecting the battery thing, not knowing if the rest of the lights that are on that same circuit were also stuck on. If this ever happens again, check to see if all of the lights on that circuit are also stuck on. If so, it's an ignition switch issue. That switch has multiple electrical switch layers. One of them could be failing or have some internal corrosion/contamination issue, or this might not ever happen again, or the switch wasn't quite all the way into the off position when you removed the key. Have you ever messed with the switch or sprayed anything in there? Added any electrical accessories over the years? If the running lights are the only lights impacted, then more head scratching will be necessary.
