• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need help with Gasket Identification for the Starter cover - any ideas?

I have a 2013 STS SE5. I replaced the stater cover and now need the part number for the smaller gasket. I can't seem to find it anywhere, but I was able to locate the gasket for the larger side (420650341). Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Surprised/glad you found what you did with a discontinued model & all. Good luck. You might investigate RTV to make a gasket ¿ Sorry I don’t know more.

If you have the old one you can make a new one out of gasket material. Or you may have to use a liquid casket material, which you can get from most auto suppliers. I have used this on many older motors where you cannot find a gasket.

Are you getting your parts from a dealer or a parts house? If it's a parts house, maybe a trip to the dealer and ask the parts department if those parts still available, if not then make your own like Nokesy said!! I tried to find it from the pictures from the house I get my parts and could not find it, but here again what bolts to that housing in that area? Maybe you have to step to that part to find it! Good Luck!!
