There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I’m replacing my headlights and fog lights this Saturday. I’ll take any help I can get!! I wish these machines came with LED lights! They should have, for what we paid (in my opinion)!

You'd be surprised at how much you can learn on Youtube.

I doubt this will be much help. It only shows the right side, which is relatively easy to access. What is needed is instructions on replacing the left fog light on an RT, which involves; a) really skinny strong hands or b) removing the frunk or c) removing the air intake tube.

Maybe a video about removing the frunk would be most appropriate?

Meanwhile, I found these written instructions from an earlier thread; http://instructions.brp.com/content...T - Fog Lights (RT)&rel_part_number=219400137

Strong hands and move (not necessarily re-move) the air intake tube. Good lighting helps also. Put in LED lights nojoke.

But it is poor design. Just like my wife's Chevy Equinox Sport - you have to remove the grill to change the headlights! :yikes:

The trick is a 18” long #2 flat tip screwdriver. Slip in, twist, remove cover. Work the cover out. Now trim 1/8th” off the bottom tab, following the curve. Replace bulb, replace cover. We use a 1” diameter wood dowel about 18” Long to pry the snorkel out of the way.

Thank you Joe for the information..!

I'll have to try that one next time!

You can move the snorkel enough without removing trim panel from around the fog lights? Just did the headlights, haven't buttoned up yet, but thinkin' I need to return the fog bulbs! Just not up for pulling the frunk and whole front end...

Nope, leave the trim alone. Use a broomstick, pry the snorkel out of the way to reinstall the cover. Get a helper, it is much easier! Trim 1/8” off the tab on the bottom, goes on much easier! Take your time, it will go on. Or, meet me in Texas hill country. I’ll put it on for you! I’m leaving for Texas Sunday morning. I’ll have my phone on. Call if you need me. Joe

Took a whole lotta time and tryin', but it went! While trying to put the cover back on, I just kept tellin' myself "It came off, it's gotta go back on!" Suddenly, you hit the Harry Potter Spot, and it falls together! Still, hoping I never have to do it again! Thanks all for the help!

I replaced a mate's lower left fog light bulb today on his 2018 RT - not tooo difficult following the above tips. Here's a pic of the air intake tube with rubber elbow and clamp that needs to be removed, then deform the elbow, push and hold it down with a long screwdriver or similar. Note the small block of wood displacing the plastic to the left after removing one 10mm head bolt from the underside of the trim that is seen with use of a mirror and easy to access and feel. The bulb is HB3 60w. I didn't need to trim the lower tab on the bulb access cover. Allow a good 2 hours if you're slow like me.
