Well, my new Corbin, with the Lamonster cut arrived yesterday. Today was a dry 60F day, so I played hooky, and put the seat on. The assembly wasn't too tough, took about 90 minutes all together. I ordered the small oval backrest to match, and had to adjust that too.
The $0.64 question is was it worth the $$$$ - yes! I am more upright, sit IN the seat, and no longer roll around on the too spongy seat on the back roads. I've already logged 50 miles on it - all back roads and twisties.
I did NOT opt for the snake skin cover, heat, or the web stitching - just a match with the original pattern, so I didn't need to purchase the passenger back rest too.
If you've been considering a new seat, and are on the upper end of the Normal Scale (I'm 6'4", 270#), I would highly recommend the Corbin for the RT. (Yes, I had one on my RS too, but that was before the Lamonster cut..)
