• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally decided to upgrade my motorhome's GPS. Eyesight has deteriorated and the small screen was getting harder to see from a few feet away. 8 years ago I got the Garmin StreetPilot 2620 for $960. UPS just delivered my Costco purchase of a new Garmin Nuvi 2555LM, tax included $162. And it is awesome!! :yes:I can't believe the difference in the 2 units. And to think this was all invented by Al Gore - wait, that's wrong, he invented the Internet. :shocked:
Hoping to sell the 2620 for $50+p&s eventually. I have a great Garmin 276C for the car and Spyder but I may just have to upgrade that one also. The march of technology never ceases to amaze this old timer. ;)

Right on - they are great.

And don't forget the lifetime maps in your purchase. The prices are hard to believe - now if gas could drop like that.....................:firstplace:
