Newbie from the UK - any ideas on how to get a Passenger backrest?

Hi and thanks for letting me join this group with so much useful information.
I’m brand new to the Can Am Spyder and mine is a 2009/10 model RS SE5. I’m Harley guy just getting into these cool machines and have built a few special bikes over the years, and I have already started messing about with the Spyder. I do, however, need a backrest to ensure the missus stays with me while hooning around on the beast.
So I’m looking for a hard to get (in the UK) item. OEM BRP Sport Rack and Quick Release Passenger Backrest for 2008-2012 Can-Am Spyder GS/RS/RSS. Will buy worldwide and arrange shipping to UK

You can find one on Amazon.com US website. It's over $700 though, so not cheap, but neither is losing the missus off the back.

Check the part numbers for your bike:

You might also want yo search here/this site for 'SmoothSpyder' (upper right of the page) with the 'Search titles only' box ticked - they make & sell (worldwide, we've got a lot of them here in Oz! ) a pretty nifty, easy to fit, backrest that converts from a Driver's backrest for Solo riding to a Pillion Passenger's backrest when you're riding 2-up.
